Will Jacklin, Intern

Will joined Northpoint Strategy following a two-year placement at the UK Home Office, where he supported a Director General in an area under intense media and Ministerial scrutiny and contributed to the development of several high-profile strategic initiatives. Alongside this role, he completed a First-Class degree in Politics at the University of Exeter.

During his studies, Will specialised in the influence of the ‘Populist Radical Right in Western Democratic Politics’, with a particular focus on populism’s ongoing transition from the political fringe to the mainstream.

In addition to his interest in political polarisation, Will is particularly drawn to the role of policy framing as a political communication strategy, having written his undergraduate dissertation on the topic. Consequently, Will is especially attuned to how political rhetoric shapes both public discourse and policy evolution.

Will supports the team by preparing client-ready research, assisting with project development, and contributing to client communications.
